The Principals:

Reliable Electric Motor Company, Inc. is a derivative of a sales company formed in 1997 by Quentin Ponder and soon joined by Willis (Pete) Penning. Their relationship dates to 1974 and tenure of both within the motor industry is even longer. Their compatible, yet different skill sets, gives them a strong business foundation. They remain the operating officers for the company.

Quentin and Pete developed the current business model to help Master Distributors compete, not only with lower cost products coming from around the world, but from traditional distributor friendly manufacturers who now sell direct to users or smaller OEM’s rather than through distribution.

We utilize one supplier in China and have had great success with superior quality, delivery integrity and product performance.

Our Supplier:

REMC has supplied motors manufactured by Wannan Motor (WNM) for more than six years. WNM is a private enterprise with over 40 years history manufacturing a wide range of motor types of very high quality. They are considered, by those who have evaluated Asian motor manufacturers, as one of the best in Asia. Total manufacturing space is now over 2.0 million square feet in well equipped and modern facilities.

In 2006 Wannan Motor received the “Top Brand Award” for manufacturing and quality excellence. This is the highest honor for products manufactured in China. WNM is the only motor company to ever win this prestigious award.
